Hyderabad, March 11 -- Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), in collaboration with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), has decided to establish an 800 MW Ultra Supercritical Thermal Plant within the premises of the 1,200 MW Singareni Thermal Power Plant in Jaipur, Mancherial district.
An agreement was signed between SCCL and BHEL at Singareni Bhavan, with SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N. Balram and BHEL General Manager Parthasarathi Das among the key signatories.
Speaking on the occasion, N. Balram stated that while the project is scheduled for completion in four years, efforts are being made to complete it within 40 months. Work on the plant will commence next month, utilising existing infrastructure to speed up...
