Hyderabad, March 14 -- South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Arun Kumar Jain inaugurated new medical facilities, including a CT scan unit, at Central Railway Hospital, Lallaguda.
The facilities, set up at a cost of Rs 5.42 crore, will benefit railway beneficiaries by reducing the need for external tests such as brain CT scans and chest CT scans, thereby lowering medical expenses.
According to a press release issued by SCR on Friday, a medicinal plant garden has also been developed within the hospital premises. The garden features plants like Tulsi, Aloe Vera, and Insulin plants. An Ayurvedic doctor will be available at the hospital to guide patients on herbal treatments.
