Hyderabad, Feb. 18 -- On Monday, students at the Mandal Parishad Primary School in Nandavanam Colony, Saroor Nagar, were given sweets and fruits to mark the birthday of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. Following this, the Ranga Reddy District Education Officer (DEO) suspended the school's in-charge principal, Rajitha.

According to the memo issued by the DEO, it was found that the MPP school in Nandavanam Colony, Hastinapur, was used for a political leader's birthday celebration.
