India, March 27 -- Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday asserted that the Congress government in Telangana does not believe in political vendetta, stating that if it did, BRS MLA K. T. Rama Rao would already be in Chanchalguda jail.



Responding to allegations made by KTR during a discussion on budgetary demands in the Assembly, Revanth Reddy recalled how he was jailed for 16 days during the BRS regime over a drone-flying case. He said the offence only warranted a fine of Rs 500, but the previous BRS government misused the law to imprison him as a sitting MP. He added that he had to seek interim bail just to attend his daughter's engagement ceremony.
