New Delhi, April 5 -- Rescue efforts at the Srisailam Lift Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel in Nagarkurnool district, Telangana, continued on Saturday with renewed momentum. SLBC Tunnel Special Officer Shiv Shankar, who is overseeing operations at the Inlet-1 location along with senior officials, provided an update on the situation.
He stated that search operations for six individuals trapped inside the tunnel following the recent incident have been intensified. He stressed that central and state rescue teams are working in full coordination, tackling various challenges to ensure uninterrupted progress.
