India, April 13 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds in a few districts of Telangana on Monday.
Officials stated that gusty winds are likely to occur at several places in Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam districts. Thunderstorms with lightning and rain are expected in parts of Mulugu, Kothagudem, and Khammam districts. A yellow alert has been issued for these areas.
On Sunday, isolated showers with thunderstorms were reported in districts including Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mulugu, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, and Jangaon.
