Hyderabad, March 21 -- Sudden rainfall was reported on Friday afternoon in several areas of Jagtial and Sircilla districts. The India Meteorological Department had earlier forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in select districts, including Jagtial and Sircilla, from 21 to 24 March.
According to reports, rainfall with strong winds occurred in various villages of Chandurthi, Vemulawada, Rudrangi, and Konaraopet mandals in Sircilla district, and in some mandals of Jagtial district.
There were no immediate reports of damage; however, there is concern that the rainfall may adversely affect paddy and mango crops.
