India, April 14 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud on Monday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that he has no moral right to speak about Telangana or the University of Hyderabad.
Addressing the media, Mahesh Kumar questioned why the Prime Minister remains silent on rampant deforestation and environmental destruction in BJP-ruled states. He alleged that PM Modi, who failed to allocate even a single rupee extra for Telangana's development, is in no position to comment on the state's affairs.
He advised the Prime Minister to verify facts before making public statements and to avoid being misled by the BJP leaders' claims.
