Hyderabad, April 3 -- Panic gripped tourists near Charminar on Thursday afternoon when chunks of plaster fell from one of its minarets amid heavy rainfall in Hyderabad. The incident occurred on the side facing the Bhagyalakshmi temple.
As the plaster suddenly came loose, several visitors fled the area in fear. Officials later confirmed that the damaged section was from a minaret that had undergone previous repair work.
