India, April 16 -- Minister for BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar on Wednesday staged a sit-in protest at Ambedkar Chowk in Husanabad, opposing the inclusion of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi's names in the Enforcement Directorate's chargesheet in the National Herald case.
Accompanied by hundreds of Congress workers from various party wings, Prabhakar sat on the road for nearly an hour, expressing solidarity with the Gandhis. The protest was part of a wider party campaign against what Congress termed as politically motivated actions by the BJP-led Central government.
