Hyderabad, March 14 -- Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Friday accused BRS MLA Jagadish Reddy of disrespecting Telangana Assembly Speaker G. Prasad Kumar. He criticised BRS leaders for protesting against the Speaker's decision to suspend Jagadish Reddy, calling it ironic that those working against democracy are now opposing a fair decision.
Ponnam Prabhakar stated that BRS MLAs were aware of Jagadish Reddy's inappropriate behaviour in the Assembly but organised protests on Friday to divert attention from his misconduct. He remarked that the people of Telangana are observing the actions of BRS leaders closely.
