Minister KTR held a review meeting with MA&UD officials

Hyderabad, Dec. 5 -- MA&UD Minister K. Tarakarama Rao stated that the government will develop the city roads on par with international standards to provide quality roads for commuters and footpaths for pedestrians.

Minister KTR held a review meeting with the senior officials of the MA&UD in Hyderabad. Officials from the electricity department, TSIIC and HMWSSB also took part in the meeting. Minister asked the officials of all the departments to work with coordination.

Talking about the usage of public transport across the cities, Minister KTR said that 72% of the population in Mumbai uses public transport, while only 34% of the Hyderabad population uses public transport.
