Hyderabad, April 17 -- Japanese conglomerate Marubeni Corporation has proposed to set up a next-generation industrial park in Telangana's upcoming 'Future City', with an initial investment of Rs 1,000 crore. The announcement came following Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's meeting with the company's top leadership in Tokyo during his official visit to Japan. A Letter of Intent (LoI) was signed and exchanged between the Government of Telangana and Marubeni Corporation, marking a major milestone in Telangana-Japan business relations. The industrial park, spread over 600 acres, will be developed in phases and is expected to attract additional investments exceeding Rs 5,000 crore.
