Hyderabad, Sept. 30 -- Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday said that he had instructed TRS corporations and party leaders to prepare for the GHMC elections as polls were likely to be announced at any time after the second week of November.
The scheduling of the elections and other aspects are wholly beyond the competence of the Election Commission. "A few media houses have wrongly attributed to me a few remarks that I have not made," Rao tweeted.
On Tuesday, the Minister convened a meeting with party leaders and GHMC Corporators and instructed them to prepare for the upcoming elections for municipal corporations.
