Hyderabad, March 18 -- Industries and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu announced that Hyderabad will be developed on the lines of other well-planned cities like Chandigarh. Responding to remarks by BRS MLC S. Raju in the Telangana Legislative Council during Question Hour, Sridhar Babu said that the proposed "Future City" will be a unique urban project in India.
He highlighted that Chandigarh is currently the most systematically planned city in the country, and Hyderabad will follow a similar model in the coming years. The city's expansion will centre around Shamshabad Airport and the Outer Ring Road, ensuring rapid development.
