Hyderabad, April 25 -- The Special Branch of Hyderabad City Police has intensified the verification of records of Pakistani nationals residing within its jurisdiction. The exercise aims to confirm their current addresses, visa types, and legal status.



While foreign nationals are typically required to register with the FRRO in Shamshabad, a separate registration unit at Purani Haveli in the Old City handles registrations of Pakistani and Bangladeshi citizens under Hyderabad Police supervision. According to the unit, 208 Pakistani nationals are currently registered in Hyderabad.
