India, July 7 -- The Hyderabad Metro Rail project, which has boosted urban expansion and real estate growth, is set to enter its second phase with a detailed plan already submitted to the Centre. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy proposed a double-decker structure near Gangaram in Madinaguda, involving a flyover at the lower level and Metro rail above it, following discussions with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
Initially, authorities considered constructing elevated corridors for Metro lines from Paradise to Dairy Farm and from Parade Ground to Shamirpet. However, after technical reviews, officials decided to separate the elevated corridors and Metro tracks rather than build them on a single column.
