India, June 13 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated heavy rainfall across Telangana over the next six days. In its daily weather report issued on Friday, the IMD said several districts may experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and strong winds ranging from 40 to 50 kmph over the next five days.
Light to moderate rain or drizzle is also expected at many places during this period. The southwest monsoon has progressed normally across the state so far.
In the last 24 hours, parts of Mahbubnagar district witnessed heavy rain, while several other locations across Telangana also recorded rainfall.
