India, July 14 -- Senior BRS leader and former minister T. Harish Rao on Monday expressed deep concern over the rising number of student deaths and food-related health incidents in Gurukul schools across Telangana.



Taking to social media platform X, he said that parents in rural areas are gripped by fear due to the recurring reports of student fatalities.



Referring to specific incidents, Harish Rao mentioned the death of a student at the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Boys Gurukul College in Koranapuram, Hanamkonda district, and the suicide of a girl student at the BC Girls Gurukul School in Toopranpet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.
