India, March 29 -- Panic gripped the Gudimalkapur area of Hyderabad after an unexpected firing incident occurred at a popular function hall hosting a Ramzan Expo around 2 PM today.
The incident took place during a minor dispute between two shop owners at the venue when one individual suddenly fired shots into the air using a licensed firearm. Hearing the gunshots, visitors at the expo panicked and rushed out in fear.
The exact motive behind the firing is yet to be ascertained. Police reached the spot immediately, took the accused into custody, and seized his licensed weapon. Kalapathar Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
