Hyderabad, March 24 -- A fire broke out in an automobile spare parts shop in the SR Nagar area of Hyderabad.
Local residents alerted authorities, following which police and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and successfully extinguished the blaze.
Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit may have caused the fire. While no casualties were reported, engine oil and various spare parts stored in the shop were completely gutted.
The extent of the financial loss is yet to be assessed.
