Hyderabad, April 25 -- A sudden fire broke out on Thursday afternoon at Satavahana University in Karimnagar, engulfing a large section of the premises. Firefighters battled the flames until evening and left once the blaze appeared to be under control. However, the fire reignited at night, reaching the examination branch. Several old answer scripts, electrical equipment, switchboards, and air conditioners stored in the examination branch were destroyed. On Friday morning, locals on a walk noticed the renewed fire and alerted authorities, after which the fire brigade successfully extinguished it.
