Hyderabad, July 2 -- The Telangana government has constituted a four-member expert committee to investigate the tragic accident at Sigachi Industries located in Pasha Mailaram, Sangareddy district.
According to fresh orders issued by Principal Secretary M. Dana Kishore, the committee will be headed by CSIR scientist Venkateshwara Rao. Other members include Chief Scientist Pratap Kumar, Surya Narayan, and security officer Santosh Ghoghe from Pune.
The committee has been tasked with identifying the root cause of the accident and examining whether standard operating procedures for workers' safety were being followed at the industrial unit. It will also verify whether the factory management complied with relevant government regulations....
