India, July 12 -- Expelled Congress MLC Teenmar Mallanna has announced the formation of a new political party focused on Backward Classes (BCs), with plans to contest upcoming local body elections and aim for power in the 2028 Assembly polls.
Speaking at a meeting with BC leaders in Zaheerabad, Sangareddy district, Mallanna said the new party would unite all BC communities along with Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and minorities to establish BC-led governance in Telangana. He asserted that a leader from the BC community would become Chief Minister in 2028.
