Hyderabad, Feb. 14 -- The Nampally Special Court has granted bail to former DSP Praneeth Rao, who was the second accused in the controversial phone tapping case.
Praneeth Rao, who was lodged in Chanchalguda jail as a remand prisoner, had filed a bail petition in the Nampally Station Court. The Additional District Court had completed hearings on January 11, but the ruling was delayed due to the absence of the public prosecutor.
On Friday, the presiding judge, Ramakant, approved the bail plea, providing relief to the former DSP.
