India, March 25 -- Minister Seethakka criticised the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government for ignoring the education sector, stating that the party only used schemes for political gain ahead of elections.
Speaking during the budget debate on the Education Department in the Telangana Assembly, Seethakka said the BRS never considered implementing a breakfast scheme for schoolchildren during its tenure. She alleged that the scheme was hastily introduced just three days before the election schedule was announced, purely for electoral mileage.
