Hyderabad, July 2 -- The Commissioner's Task Force South West Zone team, along with Kanchanbagh police, apprehended a drug supplier and seized 7.5 kg of ganja valued at Rs 1,86,000 from his possession in Kanchanbagh on Monday evening.
The accused, identified as Mohd Amer (27), a driver residing at Errakunta, Balapur, was allegedly procuring ganja from a supplier named Mohd Ismail alias Shabba of Hafeez Baba Nagar. According to police, Amer bought ganja for Rs 2,000 per 100 grams and sold it to customers at rates between Rs 3,500 and Rs 4,000, making huge profits to support a lavish lifestyle.
