India, May 28 -- Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Wednesday reaffirmed the government's commitment to building a socially just Telangana based on equality, dignity, and inclusive growth. Speaking at the award distribution ceremony for SC Welfare Residential School students at Banjara Bhavan, he declared that the state is governed by the people's will, not feudal or corrupt powers.
He said the government was formed to realise the vision of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, who granted statehood to Telangana with the dream of a just society. "Power is a responsibility, not a privilege. Every rupee is being spent with transparency and purpose," he added.
