India, April 7 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud accused the BJP-led Central government of conspiring against southern states under the guise of delimitation of parliamentary constituencies. He demanded that the Centre consult all state governments and political parties before proceeding with any delimitation process.
Speaking at a programme titled "Parliamentary Delimitation: Future of South India" held at Telangana Tourism Plaza, Goud warned that failure to hold a serious discussion on the issue would be a historical mistake. He called for a united struggle by all political parties, cutting across party lines.
