Hyderabad, April 22 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) National Secretary Dr K. Narayana has demanded that a case of sedition be filed against former BRS MLA CH Ramesh for allegedly contesting and winning elections without holding Indian citizenship. In a statement to the media, Dr Narayana alleged that Ramesh was elected multiple times from the Vemulawada Assembly constituency by falsely claiming Indian citizenship in his election affidavit. He accused Ramesh of deceiving the Union Government, the Election Commission, the State Government, and the judiciary.
