Hyderabad, March 7 -- A large group of contractors from various districts staged a protest outside the chamber of Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka at the Telangana Secretariat, demanding the release of pending bills.
According to sources, over 100 contractors gathered on Friday afternoon to seek an audience with Vikramarka, who also holds the Finance portfolio. They wanted to press for the clearance of long-pending payments. However, security personnel and the Special Protection Force (SPF) denied them entry into the Deputy CM's chamber, leading to tension at the Secretariat.
