Hyderabad, Feb. 14 -- Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge approved the candidature of six candidates to contest the biennial elections to the Rajya Sabha from Telangana, Karnakata and Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.
Former Union Minister Renuka Chowdhury and former Youth Congress president M Anil Kumar Yadav have been named as Congress candidates from Telangana. Similarly, Ajay Maken, Dr Syed Naseer Hussain and GC Chandrasekhar will be candidates from Karnataka, while Ashok Singh will be the party candidate from Madhya Pradesh.
