India, April 15 -- The ruling Congress in Telangana has demanded a thorough investigation into the controversial statement made by BRS MLA Prabhakar Reddy, who claimed that builders and industrialists were attempting to topple the state government.
Addressing a media conference in Hyderabad on Tuesday, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy alleged that Prabhakar Reddy made the remarks at the behest of BRS president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. He claimed that both KCR and his son K.T. Rama Rao were desperate to reclaim the Chief Minister's post and were conspiring against the elected government.
