Hyderabad, May 12 -- Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Resource Mobilisation at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat on Monday, where key decisions were taken to improve revenue generation and ensure targeted welfare implementation.
Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, D. Sridhar Babu, and Jupally Krishna Rao participated in the meeting. Bhatti Vikramarka noted that the Commercial Taxes Department had achieved a 6% overall growth compared to the previous year, terming it a positive indicator. He said the department had aimed to collect Rs. 600 crore in March through CST and VAT, of which Rs. 500 crore was realised.
