Hyderabad, July 2 -- Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed officials to ensure that every Class 10 student who enters intermediate education successfully completes it, citing the need to address the low intermediate pass rates despite a high 10th class pass percentage.
During a review meeting of the Education Department at the ICCC on Wednesday, the Chief Minister ordered a study on the policy of running schools up to Class 12 versus having separate intermediate colleges. He asked officials to consult the Education Commission, NGOs, and civil society for inputs, adding that the matter would be discussed in the Legislative Assembly.
