India, May 15 -- Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy visited Kaleshwaram on Thursday and offered prayers as part of the ongoing Saraswathi Pushkaralu. On the occasion, he unveiled an idol of Goddess Saraswati and addressed a public gathering.



Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said the Telangana Government was committed to preserving cultural and religious traditions through such initiatives. He expressed pride that the first-ever Saraswathi Pushkaralu in the state was being held during his tenure.



Highlighting the spiritual and civilisational importance of rivers, he said rivers like Godavari and Krishna are revered as deities and announced plans to organise Pushkaralu for both in the coming years.
