Hyderabad, April 11 -- Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) to extend Hyderabad Metro Rail services up to the proposed Future City, including a 40-km new corridor from the airport to Young India Skill Development University.

During a high-level review meeting at the Command Control Centre, the Chief Minister assessed the expansion of metro rail services to the city's outskirts. He was informed that approvals from the Central government for Phase-II of the Hyderabad Metro Rail project were still pending. Officials are currently in consultation with the Centre in Delhi.
