India, March 29 -- Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy instructed officials to expedite the construction and expansion of link roads within Hyderabad and HMDA limits to improve public convenience. He issued the directions during a review meeting held on Saturday at the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), where he examined the progress of 49 proposed link roads in detail.
The Chief Minister emphasised that the roads should ease traffic movement without causing disruptions and must be designed keeping future needs in mind to ensure long-term benefits for citizens. He added that additional expenditure for land acquisition, if necessary, should not be a deterrent when it serves the public interest.
