India, April 15 -- Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was briefly stuck in a lift at a hotel in Shamshabad on Tuesday due to a technical malfunction.



The incident occurred at Novotel Hotel when the Chief Minister arrived to attend a programme and took the lift to reach an upper floor. Reports indicate that the lift, which had a capacity of 8 persons, was overloaded with around 13 people. This caused the lift to stop midway between the ground and first floors.



Alerted by the situation, the Chief Minister's security personnel immediately informed the hotel staff, who quickly responded and opened the lift doors. Revanth Reddy was then safely escorted to the second floor using another lift.
