New Delhi, April 5 -- In a significant move to enhance regional connectivity, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh approved the commencement of civil aviation services at the Adilabad Air Force Airport in Telangana. The decision meets a long-standing demand of the people of Adilabad district.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Union Minister and BJP Telangana State President G Kishan Reddy thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu for the approval. Reddy played a key role in facilitating the initiative.
