Hyderabad, March 6 -- The Commissioner's Task Force, South Zone, along with Chatrinaka Police, has arrested four persons for cheating people by promising government-allotted double-bedroom houses. The accused collected money from victims and issued fake allotment letters.
The arrested persons have been identified as M. Jyothi (49), a social worker from Chatrinaka; P. Sunil Singh (43), a social worker from Chatrinaka; G. Ramesh (43), a kirana shop owner from Santosh Nagar; and L. Nitin Kumar (23), a Rapido driver from Chatrinaka. Police seized Rs 1 lakh in cash, five fake government rubber stamps, a Canon colour printer, a Dell laptop, over 200 fake allotment letters, eight fake requisition letters, and four mobile phones from the accus...
