Hyderabad, Feb. 10 -- The Central government has confirmed that it will not provide any financial assistance to Telangana's Young India Skill University, established by the state government. The issue was raised in the Lok Sabha during Question Hour by Bhongir MP C. Kiran Kumar Reddy, who urged the Centre to allocate funds for the initiative.



MP Kiran Kumar Reddy stated that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's government aims to train students through this university to enhance their employability. The Telangana government has allocated Rs 100 crore for the project and is planning to create a special corpus fund of Rs 300-Rs 500 crore.
