Hyderabad, March 15 -- Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay reaffirmed the Centre's commitment to empowering girls through the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative launched under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
Speaking at a programme in Karimnagar, Telangana, he highlighted the government's efforts to support girls' education and development.
He stated that under the Mudra Yojana, girls are being provided loans of up to Rs 20 lakh to help them progress. Additionally, he announced plans to distribute bicycles to Class 9 and 10 girl students using MPLADS funds.
