Hyderabad, March 20 -- The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has approved Rs 3,849.1 crore for three sewage management projects in Hyderabad under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. These projects will have a combined capacity of 972 MLD (million litres per day).



Under the Swachh Bharat Mission Urban (SBM-U), Rs 463.10 crore has been allocated to Telangana for wastewater management. Additionally, proposals worth Rs 934.60 crore, including the Centre's share, have been approved. Of the sanctioned amount, Rs 185.24 crore has been released so far.
