Hyderabad, Feb. 28 -- The Central government has given the green signal for the redevelopment of Mamnoor Airport in Warangal district, Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy announced on Friday.



According to the minister, the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation's Secretary, Amit Kumar Jha, has informed the Chairman of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) through an official letter, granting approval for the airport's development. The Telangana government had been consistently pushing for this project, leading to the Centre's approval.
