India, April 15 -- Chairperson of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Ghanashyam Prasad, assured that the CEA would extend all necessary support to power utilities in Telangana to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply across the state.
He chaired a high-level review meeting in Hyderabad on Tuesday, where key issues such as power demand and supply management, resource planning, progress on ongoing projects, and integration of renewable energy were discussed in detail.
The meeting was attended by Telangana Principal Secretary (Energy) Sandeep Kumar Sultania, CMD of TS Transco Krishna Bhaskar, CMD of TSSPDCL Dr Musharraf Ali Faruqui, CMD of TSNPDCL Varun Reddy, and other senior officials.
