Hyderabad, July 15 -- The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has requested the State Election Commissioner Rani Kumudini to eliminate election symbols that closely resemble its official party symbol, the 'Car', ahead of the upcoming local body elections in Telangana.



A BRS delegation led by former MP B. Vinod Kumar met the State Election Commissioner and submitted a representation highlighting their concern. They pointed out that symbols such as the 'Roti-making machine', 'Camera', and 'Fish' bear a visual similarity to the 'Car' symbol, causing confusion among voters.
