Hyderabad, March 17 -- The BRS party has decided to lodge a disqualification petition against Khairtabad MLA Danam Nagender, who joined the Congress party on Sunday.
During a press conference at Telangana Bhavan on Sunday, BRS leader Dr. Dasoju Sravan strongly condemned Danam Nagender and Chevella MP Ranjit Reddy for joining the Congress party without resigning from their posts. He announced that a disqualification petition would be filed against those who switched parties and warned that their political careers would be buried.
Dr Dasoju Sravan expressed his outrage at Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who, until recently, advocated for punitive measures against party switchers but is now openly endorsing defections.
