India, April 7 -- The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has requested the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) to arrange 3,000 buses for transporting party workers and supporters to its silver jubilee celebrations scheduled on 27 April at Elkathurthy in Hanamkonda district.
In a letter addressed to TSRTC Managing Director V. C. Sajjanar, former MP and BRS General Secretary A. Chandrasekhar Reddy stated that the event is being organised under the leadership of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. He also handed over a cheque of 8 crore towards transportation expenses.
Chandrashekhar Reddy urged TSRTC to instruct concerned officials to make necessary arrangements at the earliest.
