Hyderabad, March 13 -- The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has announced statewide protests against the suspension of senior party MLA Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy from the Telangana Legislative Assembly. Party working president K T Rama Rao (KTR) directed the party cadre to burn effigies of the state government in all Assembly constituencies on Friday.



Following Jagadish Reddy's suspension, KTR, along with BRS MLAs including T Harish Rao, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, Sabitha Indra Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, and others, staged a protest outside the Assembly near the Ambedkar statue. Addressing the media, KTR accused the government of suppressing the opposition and undermining democracy.
